Product walkthrough

See a print inquiry become quote-ready

There is no recorded video and no self-serve calendar yet. A demo today is a live walkthrough, arranged by email, where someone from the team walks you through the six steps below on real examples.

The six steps

What happens between an inquiry and a quote

  1. 01

    An inquiry arrives

A customer email lands in the shop's inbox, whether it's a plain request, a quote form reply, or a forwarded thread. Markyard picks it up without anyone copying it anywhere.

    In
A customer email, in whatever shape it arrives in
    Out
The inquiry, kept next to its original context
  2. 02

    Markyard extracts the job details

Products, quantities, colors, sizes and deadlines get pulled out of the free-form text and turned into a structured job record, the kind a print shop actually works from.

    In
The raw inquiry text and any attachments
    Out
A structured job: what, how many, by when
  3. 03

    Missing information is identified

Real inquiries are rarely complete. Markyard flags what's missing, an unclear quantity, no deadline, an ambiguous colorway, so the shop knows exactly what to ask before quoting.

    In
The structured job from the previous step
    Out
A short list of gaps, if any, called out by name
  4. 04

    Artwork is checked

Uploaded files are checked for the basic print-readiness issues that turn into rework later: resolution, color mode, obvious sizing mismatches.

    In
Any artwork files attached to the inquiry
    Out
A plain-language note on what looks fine and what needs a second look
  5. 05

    A human reviews and approves

Nothing reaches a customer without someone from the shop looking at it first. The reviewer sees the structured job, the flagged gaps and the artwork notes together, and decides what happens next.

    In
The structured job, its gaps, and the artwork notes
    Out
An approved job, or a request sent back for more information
  6. 06

    The job becomes quote ready

Once approved, the job carries everything needed to price it and reply, without digging back through the original email thread.

    In
    The approved, structured job
    Out
A quote-ready job, handed to whoever prices and sends it
