About Markyard

Make every job count.

Markyard is being built for German print shops that take every inquiry by email, out of time spent inside the print trade watching a single email eat an afternoon it never should have.

The problem

An inquiry becomes a quote the slow way

A customer emails a print shop with what they need. Before a price can go back, someone has to read what the customer actually meant, work out whether the job is even possible, check whether the artwork they sent can be printed the way it was sent, and price it against the shop's own costs and quantities. Depending on the job, that is twenty minutes on a good day and three hours on a bad one, and it starts over with the next email.

Why Markyard

Built from inside the print trade, not around it

Markyard reads the inquiry and pulls out the product, quantity, sizes, colours and deadline, marks whatever is missing, checks the artwork, and drafts the reply in the shop's own tone. A human approves everything before it goes out. Always. The goal was never a cleverer inbox. It was closing the gap between twenty minutes to three hours and something closer to five.

Our philosophy

Three rules the product does not bend on

  • A human approves every quote

Markyard drafts the reply. It never sends it. Every quote goes back to a person before a customer sees it, and that rule is enforced in the database, not left to good habits in the interface.

  • Honest about artwork

A vector logo can be reproduced at any size, guaranteed. A poor raster has to be redrawn, and a redrawn file is a different file, so it gets marked as one, shown next to the original rather than quietly swapped in. If an altered logo reaches press unnoticed, the shop carries that cost, not the software.

  • An outcome, not an automation

A print shop does not need another workflow to learn. It needs a solved inbox: quotes out in minutes instead of hours, so a job that would have sat unanswered gets made instead.

Where things stand

See it against a real inquiry

Markyard is early. It does not have years of customers behind it, only a clear read on the problem and a rule it will not break: nothing reaches your customers without your sign-off. If that sounds like your shop, book a demo, or tell us what you would need built to make it work for you.
